Jake Iorio (President)
Jake Iorio joined Log Cabin in 2020. He was born and raised in Orange County, CA. He graduated with a bachelor’s in cinema and television arts from Cal State Northridge and has experience working in the entertainment industry and hospitality. His interest in Log Cabin started in college when he wrote a research paper about the organization in his queer studies elective class (he got an A!). After years of hesitation, he decided to join Log Cabin because he seeks to make a difference in helping shape the conversation and inclusion of LGBT issues in the Republican Party. He also wishes to address how progressive policies have brought about California's high housing costs, homeless crisis, water crisis, burdensome taxes, and over-regulation. He hopes to bring different solutions to the problems his home state and the country face. When he’s not working or doing Log Cabin events, you can find him at your nearby beach with a chair, a good book, and an iced coffee.
